Parma Knowledge Network sees to the documentation and spreading of the research results: a major activity for an organization which mainly aims at networking knowledge.
Through their publications PKN intends to:
- Valorise the educational and research activities carried out within the frame of Parma KN
- Enable the scientists and professionals who collaborate with the initiating subject to see the concrete results of their work.
PKN arranges a multi-discipline publication system consisting in:
- a scientific publication available online;
- a publication of working and discussion papers available online;
- the publication of an annual volume of proceedings.
The scientific journal “I quaderni di PARMa Knowledge Network” (The PARMa Knowledge Network Workbooks) is the main focus of PKN’s publication activity.
To ensure scientific rigour findings are blind peer reviewed - as it the case for the best international journals - by a panel of high-profile reviewers.
PKN’s workbooks gather the scientific publications and the case studies further to other contributions which are developed within the frame of PKN’s multiple activities.
The format of contributions mirrors the systemic and integrated approach which is peculiar to PKN’s activities: the objective scientific base has to be matched by a wide operational discussion of the managerial implications and of the ensuing added value creation.
